MySpace Friends Contributing To Our Mission...

Healing with Harmony has just recently made some new friends; gifted musical artists that were met on MySpace and who, after learning about our mission, wanted to donate their CDs for our Harmony Kits. We can’t begin to express our gratitude to these people who have freely contributed their treasure and talents in support of our mission. Please take a look at who’s onboard, with the understanding that the order in which you view the artists is based on “when” our friendship began. Feel free to click on their link if you’d like more information about their music.

Please feel free to contact us on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/hwharmony

Marc Enfroy

Mark EnfroyMarc Enfroy blends beautiful piano melodies with touching orchestral arrangements to create soothing, yet emotionally charged themes like those heard in dramatic film scenes. It's a musical style he calls"Cinematic Piano." Enfroy started writing music in 2006 after losing his sister, an accomplished painter, to skin cancer. “...writing music beneath one of her paintings, became an irresistible escape from the pain,” Marc says. Born of tears, his music began as a fond tribute to the memory of his sister, and while the tears gradually diminished, the music continued to grow."I love good film music but dislike searching through an eight minute track just to hear the one or two minute section I love. So I decided to start writing short themes you might hear in a film."

Kathryn Toyama

Kathryn ToyamaLong after leaving the pressures of classical piano competition, and more than 25 years of personal transitions and many life lessons, Kathryn finally returned to the piano for catharsis, expressing her heartfelt truths through her music with the belief that musical vibrations which are emotionally positive can reach the heart and improve how we relate to each other. Committed to a purity of heart and a peaceful purpose, she felt that the most honest performance she could give was to keep the integrity of each composition by recording each track without any digital editing, thereby offering the entire truth of her emotional expression from start to end.  Based on the results of scientific auditory research which reveal how emotional resonance can be felt through music, Kathryn hopes that her music can evoke a sense of personal healing and spiritual connection.

Catherine Duc

Catherine Duc
An Australian musician, Catherine Duc, produces instrumentals blending Ambient, Celtic, Classical, Electronica and World music. Catherine is a classically trained pianist and has studied recording and production techniques at the Concert Hall in Melbourne. She also has a Diploma in Film Music Composition from The London School of Creative Studies. She was presented with the 'Instrumental Artist of The Year' award at the 16th Annual Los Angeles Music Awards. She has also won first prize in the Electronica category of a national song competition organized by Philips Australia. An interview by Voices and Visions quote Catherine’s thoughts on music and healing as, “Music really helps me to relax when I'm busy. Listening to music can make us feel more energetic or calm. When listeners tell me that my music relaxes them after a hard day at work, I feel great that my music can uplift them and give them a quick 'soundscape vacation'. These days, we are all so busy with the day to day activities - we need some time each day to focus on ourselves, recharge and gain balance.” I believe that music has the power to promote healing and one of my hopes when composing music is that it will bring joy and peace to others. I am happy to be able to share it with Healing With Harmony.

Tima Montemayor

tinatina Tima’s music reflects some of her many diverse musical and cultural influences. Starting with her father, an accomplished Filipino Jazz musician, to being a student of Chinese Opera. As a young child, she would visit Buddhist temples with her Taiwanese Grandmother and was always mesmerized by the percussion and chants of monks. And on Sundays, she would attend Catholic Mass and get lost in the beautiful sounds of church choirs. Add to this, her love of rock n' roll and you can get a sense of the unique subtile diversity Tima brings to her music.

Tima has released two full-length CDs of her original music, and a 5 song EP of Traditional Christmas Carols. These Christmas renditions offer an organic feel and sound with unique music and vocal arrangements, while maintaining the familiar Christmas melodies we all know and love.

"I have always known and practiced the soothing and healing power of music in my own life. I am so humble and blessed to be able to give my music in hopes it will offer some comfort and peace this Holiday Season."
